The Yellow River Major Theme and Watercolor Project aims to recreate the vicissitudes of life and the spirit of struggle of the people on both sides of the Yellow River with contemporary artistic concepts, integrating the conceptual nature of contemporary art with the classic nature of the Yellow River Major Theme, and exploring new ideas for the creation of major themes in Chinese watercolor. I hope that the students will use their hearts, emotions, and hard work to depict the magnificent atmosphere of the new era and new journey, and achieve their life value in the pursuit of moral and artistic excellence.

The project's choice to interpret the nine curves of the Yellow River, the convergence of hundreds of rivers, and the galloping human geography landscape in the form of watercolor painting is a continuous pursuit by Chinese watercolor artists to break through the traditional watercolor narrative framework and innovate the expression of the soul image of the Chinese nation in the new era.
