This is my first time doing live sketching in Weihai, especially at Half Moon Bay, which should be a popular check-in spot in Weihai. It's very beautiful!

In late autumn, although it is already the last week of autumn this year, there are still many tourists here. Tourists from all over, especially on weekends, come here by various means of transportation. A large number of people come to Weihai by self driving, which makes me feel that Weihai has clear water and blue sky, shining with very bright and rich colors. This makes every tourist who comes to travel feel very happy first.

You can see the vast ocean here. Especially in Half Moon Bay, you can see the most beautiful sunrise, witness the important historical events of Liu Gong Island, and enjoy beautiful bay views such as Sanlian Island.

At the same time, in the evening, a large number of fishing boats return from the seaside of Weihai, with red flags waving and sails casting shadows on the sea, presenting a scene of abundant harvest.

These feelings make people feel that Weihai not only has the beautiful scenery bestowed by the eternal sea, but also has a thriving atmosphere of the times presented by the hard work of people in the new era of economic and social development.

So from the perspective of painting art, we need to grasp the unique characteristics of the natural scenery here, such as the seawater showing different changes every day under light.

From morning to evening, there is a rich variety of color changes here. The waves are like the notes of the sea, constantly jumping with various melodies.

In the Chinese oil painting town of Half Moon Bay and the vast coastal areas of Weihai, there are preserved old buildings that have been protected, as well as numerous landmark new buildings.
